Hi,

I am integrating C2000Ware with SysBios for one of my project.

C2000Ware alone with CAN interface works good.

SysBios with Tasks are working good.

If I start adding both into a single project, the function SysCtl_setLowSpeedClock is not executed and application hangs there.

Does anyone have any clue, why it is failing when I integrate sysbios to the project?

You say that SysCtl_setLowSpeedClock() isn't executed--are you calling SysCtl_setClock() before it? Does it appear to be getting stuck in SysCtl_setClock()?

Can you make sure you don't have the SYSBIOS Boot module set up to configure the clock if you're using the driverlib functions to configure it instead?

Hi Whitney,

Yes, it is getting stuck in SysCtl_setClock() itself. It fails at SysCtl_delay(3U);

I double checked and found that I am not using boot module setup for clock .

The above situation is happening with either TI-RTOS or SYS/BIOS.

The delay function is supposed to be run from RAM. If you're loading code into flash, somewhere in your code you'll need to copy SysCtl_delay() (which is part of .TI.ramfunc) from flash to RAM. If you're using Device_init(), it will do the memcpy for you as long as you have _FLASH in your predefined symbols.

That's great. Running the delay function from RAM fixed the problem.
