TMS470MF06607: flash the code from lauchpad to another board

Part Number: TMS470MF06607

Hi,

We are using the TMS470M HDK  (TMS470MF06607 microcontroller).

We designed my own PCB board with TMS470MF06607 microcontroller.

Need to flash the program to the newly developed custom board with TMS470MF06607 microcontroller . (The board designed doesn't have dedicated debugger).

We have only ARM JTAG 20pin in my board to flash code for my microcontroller. (Dont have TI JTAG 20pin).

Tried to flash the program to new developed board through TMS470M HDK ARM JTAG (20pin), but we do found difficulties while flashing the code.

The code dumped only into the Launch Pad Microcontroller and It's not flash into the custom Board connected through ARM JTAG (20-pin).

Connection Done:

1. ARM JTAG (20pin) of Launch pad is get connected to ARM JTAG (20pin) of our custom board.

2. Selection for ARM JTAG is also get shorted through jumper in launch pad of TI.

So, can you kindly provide your valuable feedback to flash my code to custom board. Will be expecting your valuable feedback ASAP.

Regards,

Arun Kumar.N

  • The ARM JTAG (20 pin) connector on the TMDX470MF066HDK is not for programming other devices. It is for using an external emulator to program the on-board device. Pulling the JTAG_SELn pin low disables the on-board XDS110. To program the device on your board you need an emulator such as the XDS100.
