Hi,
I have some questions regarding the Ethernet connector layout, as in the image below.
As I understand it, the Read and Transmit pairs should be matched to 100 Ohms, that's why the differential pair. However, I don't understand the curves and seemingly excessive length of the traces, specially for the Read traces. What is the reason behind this? Is it really necessary?
