Hi,

I am unable to program the board TMDS570LS31HDK and it is showing error as given below.

We had an issue with 3v3 IC which we removed and connected an external supply for programming.

We tried programming it through USB port. All the power LEDs were on.

After the first attempt of programming The LED indicator on the board for 1.2V and 3.3V was seen blinking constantly (Not a steady glow).

What should be suspected here? The processor has gone bad or is it 1.2V.

Is the processor protected from the Power IC failures?

Hello Shriraz,

It looks like the power supplies (1.2V, 3.3V) are not stable. For JTAG connection issues, please refer to:

Hi Wang,

3.3V supplies failed completely and we removed the IC and connected an external supply instead.

For 1.2V we are still relying on the IC mounted on the board. Should i remove this 1.2V IC and connect an external supply here as well?

Is there a chance for the TMS570LS processor failure?

Hi Shiraz,

Please probe the 3.3V and 1.2V to make sure they are in the ranges defined in the datasheet.

Vccio (3.3): 3V~3.6V

Vcc (1.2V): 1.14V~1.32V

Is the LED D12 (near CPLD) turned on after you plug the USB cable to the microUSB connector J7?
