HI,

As the title, i want to use the Launchpad just be a programming tool, how to disconnect the JTAG I/F between the on-board XDS110v2 & on-board TMS570?

Hello Erik,

The TMS57004 launchpad uses xds100V2 rather than xds110. There is a separate JTAG header (J12, un-populated) on the launchpad. When the signal JTAG_SEL on J12 is pulled to 3.3V, the JTAG signals on this header (J12) are used.

thanks for your reply,

but my purpose is using launchpad's xds100v2 to burn the external PCBA's TMS570, not using external emulator to burn Launchpad's TMS570

Hi Erik,

You can use the JTAG signals on J12 to interface with the external device. I didn't try it, but it should work.
