CCS/TMS570LC4357: LAUNCHXL2-570LC43 and lwIP 2.1.2 released integration

Part Number: TMS570LC4357
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: HALCOGEN, TMDXICE110, CC3220SF-LAUNCHXL, AMIC110, AM3359

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

Hi Guys,

I´ve read about the lwIP and see that the new version is 2.1.2. I´d like use some version with TCP or UDP (socket) support

So I´d like ask if there is a tutorial to install the library with ccs and hercules´kit (TMS570LC4357) suppport? I´ve just find a web service example using lwIP version 1.

And finally, I´d like ask to TI´s team if it is possible to provide a single socket example using TMS570LC4357? If it´s so difficult, what kit it´s easier to use?

Thanks,

Geraldo.

  • Hell Geraldo,

LWIP 1.4.1 is supported by HALCoGen. We don't have plan to support lwip 2.1.2. The only example we have is the web server demo.

  • Dear Wang,

    Thanks by your reply.

I run the web service example, but it show a static html only to me. I´ll try change the static example to use socket communication that I need in my project. What do you think about this way? Do you think it will run? Do you know anybody that use socket communication with hercules? It´s very important to my project get sucess in this test.

I´ve bought other TI´s kit too:TMDXICE110, C2000 Delfino MCUs F28379D LaunchPad Development Kit, Hercules MCU TMS570LC43x (HDKs), AM437x Industrial Development Kit, AM335x Starter Kit, AM3359 Industrial Communications Engine, AMIC110 Industrial Communications Engine (ICE) and TI LaunchPad™ development kits: CC3220SF-LAUNCHXL.

What kit do you think I´ll get sucess to implement socket or other kind of ethernet communication?

    Thanks,

    Geraldo.

  • Hello Geraldo,

I don't know which kit has example for socket communication. Please find more information from Sitara E2E forum:

  • Ok Thanks Wang.
