We have an xds220 emulator to be used with a tda4 chip. We need to use it with ethernet connection over a VPN.
A static ip is assigned to it, then we can connect to it on a LAN and we can ping it over a VPN connection. But when we run "xds2xx_conf get xds2xxe <ip-address>" to get device info or any other "xds2xx_conf" command, we run into timeout.
Since everything works on the LAN and not over VPN, I think there is some related setting that I am missing.
I know that the debugger is not a TI product but I assume that there is more practical experience/knowledge in TI with this device.
