We have been using MSP430F5359IZQWR and MSP430F2618TZQWR in some of our designs and are getting ready to build boards. We noticed these devices are no NRND or OBS. We saw that the recommended alternates below were called out, with possibility for slight footprint changes.
MSP430F5359IZQWR - > MSP430F5359IZCAR
MSP430F2618TZQWR -> MSP430F2618TZCAR
Before we place an order for these alternates can you confirm there are no other electrical or mechanical differences that could affect the circuitry surrounding the ICs or affect the software running on the ICs.
