time.h is available to you for date manipulations.

Do you mean it use the C standard library?

I want to know whether a day exists or not when I call some function or do some processing with MSP430.

Please let me know if you have any ideas or procedures.

As well as the the watchdog, there is also the option to generate a Brownout Reset (BOR) or Software power on reset (POR) by writing to the  PMMCTL0 Register register. From the MSP430FR58xx, MSP430FR59xx, and MSP430FR6xx Family User's Guide (Rev. P) :
