Dear team,

I use 2 MSP-EXP430FR2433 to test SPI code:

msp430fr243x_euscia0_spi_09.c (ti.com)

msp430fr243x_euscia0_spi_10.c (ti.com)

I tried to add a breakpoint on the master side. The RXData and UCA0TXBUF read will not change. RXData is always 255, UCA0TXBUF is always 0x00050E. I guarantee that the slave device will work before the master device.

Please help to check.

Remove the RXD and TXD jumpers from J101 ("bridge" header). I expect the backchannel UART (connected to UCA0) is interfering [Ref LP UG (SLAU739) Sec 2.2.4]

Hi Susan,

I also suggest using a scope/logic probe to capture the MISO and MOSI pins.
