According to this memory map for ultrasonic sensing, can I be able to implement MSP430FRBoot to add the OAD feature?

Hi Dushan

Could you give more details about OAD feature? If you want to realize the bootloader function we do have BSL to do this.

Thank you for the reply.

I want to add the Over the Air firmware update feature to the ultrasonic flow rate project. I found that we can perform OAD with MSP430FRBoot. But my problem is, will I be able to implement MSP430FRBoot with this ultrasonic project, because of the lack of memory space in FRAM

Yes that is fine, I saw there are 1.4k RAM left can be used for OAD. That is enough to cash one more packages send by host.

But I saw OAD implementations using FLASH only. Can you send some documents regarding implant OAD with RAM

As I mentioned that we have BSL to this, the BSL is a internal bootloader in ROM memory. More information you can refer to this user's guide
