Hi Team,

hope everyone doing well!

we are using MSP430F47187 in our circuit . our circuit consists of capacitive power supply as well as coin cell battery option .

Problem: when we ON the power supply then micro controller sometimes does not start and when we reset it by shorting vcc to gnd then its wake up.

kindly suggest what precaution should be taken to come out from this issue.

Dose this issue happen every time when power up?

Could you help to check if the device can running in to the code? You can put an GPIO toggle event at the initialization part.

What the coin cell's voltage out put? Could you help to capture the VCC voltage when power on the device?

How many capacitors on VCC and what's their values?

Hi Gary

coin cell---3.0V ,220MAH(CR2032)

VCC power on ---- 3.6 v

capacitors on VCC: i am using TPS54060 IC for making VCC
