Hi, I just installed Code Composer Studio on my Linux machine and I keep getting this error: "Error initializing emulator:
MSP-FET430UIF is already in use". Thanks for any help.

Hi,

You can try to unplug the USB and plug it in again.

It may be caused by some threads occupying FETs not shutting down.

Have you checked whether there is a broke MSP-FET? Does it can work normal previous in Linux?

Hello, I dual boot Windows 10 and Pop_OS in the same machine and I can upload my code without any problem in CCS on Windows.

Did you run the <ccs_install_root>/ccs/install_scripts/install_drivers.sh script after installing CCS on Linux?

That script sets up UDEV rules to allow non-root users access to debug probes.

If that script isn't run, I can't remember what error is reported.
