MSP430F6779A: How to calculate measuring voltage tolerance of AUXVCC1 pin?

Part Number: MSP430F6779A

Dear Sir/ Madam,

Due to I supply voltage AUXVCC1 with DC voltage 3.3V to 2.7V (supply voltage at AUXVCC, no supply voltage at AVcc and DVcc).

We need to know, how much the tolerance from the MCU measured with this pin?

Ex. Tolerance when changing temperature -40 - +70 °C, Tolerance of internal resistive divider, Tolerance of ADC.

Select VREF+ = 1.5V

VR+ = VREF

VR- = AVSS

Note:

Why I need to know battery voltage detect tolerance?

   - Due to we need to use function voltage detect of battery supply, when voltage from battery less than 2.7V.

I try to test on temperature chamber by measure at battery voltage compare with digital multi meter and MCU measure on chip.

So, test result from multimeter change from battery a little but on MCU measure get voltage different from battery so much.

Thank,

Non.

  • Hi No,

Actually, let me try to understand your requirement:

You would like to use ADC to measure the voltage of AUXVCC1 right?

And you would like to know the error for full temp range(-40 - +70), right?
If yes, maybe you try to find some spec in F6779A datasheet.

    Thanks!

    Best Regards

    Johnson
