MSP-EXP430G2ET: No devices available for selection

Hello Guys,

Good day.

Our customer is having issues with the MSP-EXP430G2E. He had already installed CCS and the MSPDS USB drivers. When launching CCS and clicking New Project, the software asks him to select a device but there are no devices available for selection.

When plugging in the microcontroller the two-LED toggle sequence is present, however, the device is not recognizable by the OOBE demo. The computer does not recognize it despite installing the drivers. What could be the issue?
