MSP430G2755: SPI configuration

Part Number: MSP430G2755

Hi Team,

We would like to ask your help regarding our customer's inquiry below.

Hello, I am trying to configure the MSP430G2755 to communicate via that spi bus to a TPL0501 (digital resistor). I have pin 10, P3.1 set as MOSI, Pin 12, P3.3 set as SClk, and Pin 9, P3.0, set as Chip Select.

I am using Code Composer Studios as my IDE, and I am trying to find the register USICTL0 in order to properly configure my SPI settings, but I cannot seem to do so. I have UCB0CTL0, UCB0CTL1 configured properly, and have my Pins all configured as GPIOs. I see in the user guide, 078h is the address location of USICTL0, but I cannot seem to find the file that refers to the name is it given, and I don't see it in the MSP430g2755.h.

Please let me know if I am missing anything, or if you have example code for how to configure the SPI bus that would be helpful. Thank you very much.

Regards,

Danilo
