MSP430F5510: Code Security

Part Number: MSP430F5510

We are developing a consumer product for a client using MSP430F5510, and the client wants code protection. When I did some research, I saw setting some bit to blow the soft fuse for JTAG access, and the backdoor is password-protected BSL. But when I looked into the project properties in CCS (Properties>Debug>MSP43x Options>MSP430 Flash Settings), I unchecked Allow Read/Write/Erase access to BLS memory. I also saw, "! Connection to the device will not be possible after the device is secured !!" (Screenshot attached below). So what I assume is I no longer need to set the blow-up bits for JTAG security. I would greatly appreciate any answers or suggestions.

Thank You
