Hi Makkapati,
Have you tried the suggestions listed in the linked original thread [MSP430F5503: Random USB disconnects] where they are seeing the same Code 43 error and resolving the issue by unplugging/replugging the USB cable?
Thanks,
Urica Wang
Hi Makkapati,
Thanks for clarifying. Can you provide more information about your setup?
1. What version of Windows are you using?
2. What is your hardware setup? For example, are you using a target socket board + MSPFET?
3. Is the USB cable directly connected to your PC, or is it connected to an external USB HUB?
Thanks,
Urica Wang
Hi Makkapati,
The F5521 device errata sheet [link] lists several USB errata where the issue was resolved by the user unplugging/replugging the USB cable (specifically USB9, USB10, USB12). You mentioned that you've checked all software possibilities, can you confirm that you've addressed these 3 errata (implementing each workaround one by one and testing to see if the issue occurs)?
Thanks,
Urica Wang
Hi urica ,
They are asking to upload some codes but during upload its showing fet module not detected how to do that when thats the case
Hi Makkapati,
Can you confirm whether you are using a target socket board (www.ti.com/.../MSP-TS430PN80USB) and a MSPFET (https://www.ti.com/tool/MSP-FET)?
If so, is the MSPFET appearing in Device Manager (you should have MSP Application UART and MSP Debug Interface in Ports)? If the drivers have been correctly installed, you should be able to find Application UART and Debug Interface in Ports.
Are any of the LEDs on the FET turned on/what is their behavior? The meaning of the LEDs is found in section 5.6.4 "LED Signals" here https://www.ti.com/lit/slau647.
Thanks,
Urica Wang
