Other Parts Discussed in Thread: MSPBSL, , UNIFLASH, MSP-FET
Hello,
I am working on a medical device for a customer which has a requirement for firmware updates in the field by micro SD Card. I already have the SD Card working with low level reads/writes in the application and I can port that code to the bootloader.
I have two questions:
1. Where can I find the project files and source for the bootloader that is already loaded in boot flash for this device? I downloaded the "MSPBSL_CUSTOMBSL430 — MSB bootloader for MSP430" from this page: https://www.ti.com/tool/MSPBSL, and I looked at the IAR projects contained in the download but there is nothing for the MSP430F5259. My goal is to use that BSL as a starting point, remove the UART/I2C support and hook in the uSD drivers I already have working to the flash programming. Can you please point me in the right direction?
2. How is the bootloader flashed? I am using the UniFlash tool with a TI MSP-FET for the application.
Thanks!
