MSP430FR2676: Sensor scan cycle configuration

Hi,

My customer is using MSP430FR2676.
In their system, mutual sensors are used and the number of sensors varies between 1 to 11 depending on boards.

When all 11 sensors are used, sensor scan cycles are configured as below:
Cycle00: 4 sensors (E00, E01, E02 and E03)
Cycle01: 4 sensors (E04, E05, E06 and E07)
Cycle02: 3 sensors (E08, E09 and E10)

Suppose only 1 sensor is used, the default sensor scan cycle is like this:
Cycle00: 1 sensor (E00)

Customer wants to keep scan cycles always 3 so that total scan time is the same for all cases.
So he tried below, but it does not seem working.
Cycle00: 0 sensor
Cycle01: 0 sensor
Cycle02: 1 sensor (E00)

Such configuration is not possible?
Are there any way to use 3 scan cycles for only 1 sensor?
