Hi experts,

I have a question about the shape of the diamond pattern.

My customer wants to round the corners of a diamond pattern for ESD, Is there a recommended R value?

Hi Sasaki,

I am not sure whether a diamond pattern can help to improve the ESD. Normally, we use series resistor and ESD diode to prevent ESD. For the R value we don't have any recommend. You can even make it to a circle, just make sure the size is close to 10-12mm (the same size to human finger).
