EVM430-FR6043: no connection to the HID device

hi everyone

I have trouble with the EVM430-FR6043 to get connection with the HID device.

im using windows 10, CCS V11.0.0.00012, USS_02_40.

the device manager shows MSP Application UART1 (COM1) and MSP Debug Interface (COM4).
with the ccs i can build and flush the EVM_USS_Water_Demo and can measure the output Signal on the transducer.

I am missing something? or what could be wrong? (on a VM with Windows 7 it works, but i have not enough ressources there).

Hi,

I haven't seen this kind of issue before. Have you configured the meter options before connecting to the board?

yes i tried all option in this Menu part. nothing changed, still no connection.

Hi,

Well, I do not have much clue on it. You said it works on Win7 not on Win10. It does not make sense to me.

Try use an external power supply to the EVM board, and break the VCC jumpers on the EVM board. If you do not know how to do it, please refer to the following link.
