BOOSTXL-BATPAKMKII: Problem on charging Fuel Tank MKII Battery BoosterPack

Dear TI Engineers,

I have bought a Fuel Tank MKII Battery BoosterPack:

I tested it with the example given in MSP432P401R Launchpad. It worked. I could see its being charged from the serial terminal as described in its user guide.

When it was fully charged, I then used it together with another Launchpad, it was still working. I confirmed that it supplied power to that launchpad.

When it was completely discharged, I put it together with the MSP432P401R Launchpad again. I charged it for 10 hours and I could not see any charging information from the serial terminal. The charging failed. What is wrong with this step?
What is the simplest way to recharge Fuel Tank MKII Battery BoosterPack without using an extra launchpad?

Hi Tim,

Can you find the COM port in your PC? Can you figure out whether the 432 is well connected with your PC and work fine? If you want to ask question about fuel IC, you may need to submit ticket to BMS forum.

Of course, I know how to find the uart port.

There is a jumper which is required to charge this Boostpack without using the MSP432401R Launchpad.

Please ship this jumper alongside with this pack! It is very annoying to search for a solution and a jumper!
