EVM430-FR6043: Gas pipe

That particular Audiowell pipe is for water applications, not gas.  The frequency of those transducers are typically 1MHz or 2MHz and will not work well for gas applications.

My recommendation is to use transducers specific for gas applications and create a 3D printed pipe body to fit a specific transducer.  This is how we were able to test various gas transducers here at TI.

Refer to slaa974 Gas Meter Design Guide for guidelines on how to create the pipe.  You can download the OpenScad design files (see section 4 in the doc) for the pipe referenced in that document.   OpenScad is a free open source tool to easily generate 3D designs for printing.

After applying the comparative method described in this report to multiple pairs of transducers from various manufacturers, 200-kHz Jiakang transducers, 400-kHz Ceramtec transducers, and 500-kHz Wuxi Lianhui transducers were all found to have less than 0.5% variation across multiple transducer pairs.
