I see you found a resource.  I would be curious to see how well it works. 

Another option is MSP430 Spy-Bi-Wire with Simplelink MCUs.  It has instructions, with code, showing how a host MCU can program a couple of different MSP430 MCUs.  You could use the host MCU code and adopt into your application.

because i have seen the reference to CC26xx in the github repo. I will port it soon and it should work fine.

If your target is only FRAM family than SBW master with basic operation can be really small. There is no flash memory, no funclets, no timing, just simple read / write operations like RAM.

thank you, i have implemented this one https://github.com/Pablo-Jean/sbw-mock-burner/tree/main/lib/spy-by-wire which seems to be the most minimal i could find around, and indeed despite being spread on few files it is relatively short. Everything compiles and "runs" fine however it fails to connect the target, it responds to connection by 0 which is error, Iavent found hardcoded timing on the functions used, the us and ms delay implementation are thsoe i provide.

Can you take a oscilloscope capture of the spy-by-wire signals at the target?  How long are the wires between the host and target? Can you also provide a simple drawing of how everything is connected to each other? And the obvious question, can you program the MSP430FR4133 with an external programmer, such as MSPFET, just to make sure connections are good?

Edit: since then i replaced this MSP430 by a Cortex M0+, so, i wont be working on this unless another project requires it.
