The customer is considering the MSP430FR5849IRHA.
They are considering doing corrosion testing on this device.
They are concerned about the condition of the plating on the device pin leads.
The customer mentioned that they were told that the type with leads would have bare metal parts on the cut surface.
Please tell me, I don't think the QFN type has a cut surface.
Therefore, I believe that all the metal parts are treated with NiPdAu, and no metal parts are exposed.
Is this understanding correct?
