Hi,

Good Day.

Would you please help me to find an example of a timer interrupt routine in assembly for the MSP430FR4133 microcontroller?

This is for a timer compare function to generate an interrupt after the timer value is elapsed.

Please advise. Thank you very much.

All MSP430FR4133 code examples can be found here: https://dev.ti.com/tirex/explore/node?node=A__AHE8WiChEC1qyd5.ZYkM8Q__msp430ware__IOGqZri__LATEST

You can also access them directly through code composer by going to view-> Resource explorer, then navigating to this same folder inside MSP430ware.

For a timer interrupt example, I would recommend looking at ta0_01.c or ta0_02.c.

The interrupt service routine can be as simple or as complex as you require. Here is a very simple one that increments a counter and wakes up the main routine (if in a low power mode):

timer_A_CCR0_isr:
        inc     &_tick          ; increment the tick counter
        bic     #SCG1+SCG0+OSCOFF+CPUOFF,0(r1) ; wake up
        reti

        .word   timer_A_CCR0_isr
