EVM430-FR6043: Distortion in volume flow rate waveform of USS Design Center GUI tool

It may cause by the measurement errors on the dTof or the absTof results. If you get a cycle slips issue on these two results. It could cause the variation on the volume result. And if you observe the errors only at certain flow rates. It should related to the pipe design. The pipe design may cause turbulence at certain flow rate and cause the issue.

OThe maximum measurement frequency should be around 20hz. It takes time for each measurement.

Hello Cash,

There are no errors reported in USS Design tool for the shared captured samples. If there is no errors reported then still there could be possibility of  measurement errors on the dTof or the absTof (Not reporting on GUI tool).

Can you please suggest tuning parameters which can be tried to make waveform smooth.

Hi,

There seems a lot of noise at the beginning of the signal. Use a less "Number of Pulses" may help to reduce the noise. Try with 12 first. And you can also set the "GUI based gain control" a little higher to make the peak signal of the ADC capture to reach around 800 codes.
