If you haven't already downloaded and installed the latest version of MSP430Ware, a collection of MSP430 software and tools.  In there you will find a usblib430 folder.  Navigate to the \usblib430\MSP430_USB_Software\MSP430_USB_API\examples directory.  I'm not sure which type of USB interface your project is, but most likely you will find an example project of same type, like virtual com port CDC class.  Compare the project layout and settings to yours and you will most likely discover what you are missing.

Hi Dennis,  I followed the link about and downloaded the MSP430Ware but there is no usblib430 folder in any sub-directory.  Did I do something incorrectly?

Maybe so.  When I download and install 3_80_12_03 I have a usblib430 folder, but you don't?

I don't have that many folders under c:\ti\ccs1220\ccs.  So can you provide the link to that 3_80_12_03 download?

Hi John,

The default installation location is under the c:\ti directory.  Did you check there?  You won't find it under c:\ti\ccs1220.

Actually, I see now the latest version is 3_80_14_01.  This LINK will take you to the MSP430Ware download.  Unfortunately, the USB library is bundled with MSP430Ware so you can't download just the USB content.

Once you are there, follow these two steps to download the zip file.  Unzip it in your c:\ti\ directory.
