MSP430FR2422: Backup memory during reset conditions
I went through the datasheet, the location and size of the backup memory is mentioned, but I could not find the reset value of the memory.
1)In the datasheet it is mentioned that value stored in the backup memory will be retained during LPM 3.5, I want to know what happens to the backup memory during any kind of Reset, like POR, PUC and BOR.
2) And also what happens to the RTC related registers during any kind of reset like POR,PUC and BOR.
3) Is there any possibility where backup memory is erased but RTC registers are not reset.
Backup memory is preserved during reset and saved when going down to LPMx.5 modes. As long as power is not lost, it will be maintained. In LPM3.5, nothing is on but RTC, Xtal, and BACKMEM. If you are powering your device off, backup memory can be corrupted.
