I am considering a water meter for measuring tap water.

Will differences in water quality affect the ultrasonic measurement? (e.g. soft or hard water, etc.)
Any information or experimental results would be appreciated.

Hello,

Yes, differences in water quality could affect the ultrasonic measurement as sound travels at different speeds depending on water composition. Unfortunately, we do not have any experimental results of this as it is outside of our testing scope.
