Hi
I am trying to interface a solenoid valve with my board using L293D driver. Do I directly connect my output port to the input of L293D or is there a need of any pull up resistor.
Thanks in advance

The MSP430 outputs are symmetrical CMOS outputs. So they drive low as well as high. Only if the I2C hardware is used, you'll need external pullups.
However, I didn't check the datasheet of your driver IC, so I don't know what voltage levels it requires.
