MSP430F6779: MSP430F6779 Program Freezes

My program seems to be freezing and then I halt it and I see this in the Disassembly below in the picture. What would cause the program to do this and get into this weird state?

It is weird though. After it freezes and I halt it in debug mode, and then hit run again it works fine.

    It looks like your program is resetting repeatedly, probably very early on. The SYSRSTIV register may offer a clue.

    I suggest you set a breakpoint at the Reset entry point (it's right there in the Disassembly window) then step through main to see how far it gets before resetting again..

    When stopped at the Reset, the SP hasn't been overwritten yet. In difficult cases I trace back through the stack (by hand) to see where it was executing recently; it's a bit tedious but often informative.
