LP-MSPM0G3507: Configure ADC to take readings/data from DRV5055A on SENS026A sensor booster pack.

Part Number: LP-MSPM0G3507
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DRV5055, MSPM0G3507

Hi team, I was wondering if there is any example code to configure the ADC to take data from the DRV5055A hall effect sensor which is a part of the SENS026A sensor booster pack? I'm trying to take and display readings from the DRV5055 sensor using the MSPM0G3507 launchpad.

  • Hi,

I checked the DRV5055 datasheet, and find out it output range is from 0V to VDD. For MSPM0 ADC configuration, you can use VDD as the ADC voltage reference. And there is an example code called "adc12_single_conversion" in the sdk which uses VDD as the reference. It should meet your requirement.

And if it does not meet your requirement, could you describe more about this application? We also interested in make a demo for your application.

What is the EE of this application? What functions are needed for the MSPM0?

    Best regards,

    Cash Hao
