Hi Team,
We are using a MSP430F2274 chipset for our devices. we would like to bulk programing for our production. We have raspberry PI SBC board where we would like to integrate a MSP Gang Programmer for MSP430. Let me how we can add support of MSP Gang Programmer in linux. We seen, TI provide support in window based dll but we haven't about Linux lib or support . can you please confirm, how we can proceed for linux with MSP Gang 430.

Check with Elprotronics - they manufacture and provide OS support for the MSP GANG.

According to their site, they do support Linux:

Windows(TM) XP, 7, 8, 10, 11, and Debian Linux support for x86_64(amd64) and armhf architectures. Runs on Raspberry Pi and Orange Pi One.

However, the MSP GANG GUI is only supported in windows:

Easy to use GUI allows the user to configure all necessary options with ease (GUI on Windows only).

I believe there is a CLI (command line interface). Check out all of their documents here:

Yes, Elprotronic supports Linux only for XS or X2S adapters while we need support in - MSP-GANG, 8-target gang programmer. MSP GANG has support up to 8 device program while XS and X2S supports 6 device only. We would like to integrate in to Raspberry Pi or beagleBone based SBC devices.

Hi Manish,

According to Elprotronics:

"We do not have Linux for MSP-GANG and we are not planning to do this. We support Linux in our XStream and XStreamPro adapters. Up to 64 programmers can be connected to one PC and program all targets simultaneously. User can program in gang up to 1*64 (if used FlashPro programmers) or 6*64 (if used GangPro programmers) from one PC. We have an example for our programmers using Linux with Raspberry Pi. "
