Hi,friend!

I always use the fet debugger connect to the Msp430f5509 board and set the connection in the option menu as Texas instrument usb-IF .

 I burn into the msp320 every time when I run the program.

The program runs good when the Fet and the msp all connect to my pc.

But After I disconnect the Fet and the msp430 ,and only connect the msp to the pc,the pc can't recognise my msp430,and show as a unknown device.

    1) Check the GND connection at the USB connector on your board. If pin 4 (GND) of the connector is floating, connect it to the GND of your board.
    2) Check the power source of DVCC pin of the MSP chip. If it is supplied just from JTAG, you'll need another power source on the board.
