Other Parts Discussed in Thread: EVM430-FR6047
Tool/software:
After damaging the processor on two EVM430-FR6047 evaluation boards, I decided to get the ZIF board to give me more attempts. Unfortunately I have not been able to connect it to the GUI thus far.
I have connected it to the eZ-FET that is embedded in the EVM430-FR6047 evaluation board. Flashing the fresh ZIF mounted MSP430FR6047 in Code Composer Studio I was able to get both the blink LED code and Hello Word to operate correctly.
I also successfully flashed the "Windows Installer for USS Water Demo for FR604x" code to it (very close to the code that ships with the EVM430-FR6047 evaluation board).
Unfortunately it is not recognized by the GUI. I tried with and without I2C pullup.
Thoughts on what components I might be still missing? The LCD and push buttons are not required, correct?
I know I still need to add input and output protection for the transducer input and outputs, but I am still missing something that allows the GUI to connect.
