Tool/software:
We have purchased a few of the MSP430 Launchpad devices to test for a new project.
Our development environments are strictly OSX, we have been able to install CCS 20 with no issues.
When we try to communicate to the MSP430 Lauchpad CCS does not find the device.
When I run the command ls /dev/cu*.* or just ls /dev/*.* I'm unable to find the comm interface.
I can see the device in the system information screen, so the Mac does appear to see the devices but is unable to connect.
I have tested a couple of the units on a PC at home, and they do work. We can enumerate the ports.
Don't have any issues with SiLab or FTDI drivers, for other systems, so just reaching out to see if there are MAC OSX drivers available for this device.
If not, are there tricks/tips that we can use to get it working?
If there is another Launchpad that is known to work with this version of OSX, please let us know.
Regards
Brian
