LP-EM-CC1314R10: SPI_CS pin

Hi,

There is no mention of SPI pins in the CC1314R10 datasheet. However, it says it supports 4 channel SPI. Is DIO_42 is supported as SPI_CS (Chip Select).
Overview: I designed a hardware with connector compatible to LP-MSPM0G3507, in MSPM0G3507SPM pin PB6 supports CS. However, there is no mention of CS in LP-EM-CC1314R10 connector schematic where DIO_42 is located at that pin.

What are the 4 channels of SPI for CC1314R10? And four pins to connect to SPI_CS? Can DIO_42 be used as CS?

Hi Zack,

Thank you. I went over the TRM, however it does not solve my issue. It does not have the pinmux table neither lists all the 4 channels of SPI. Also, could not find if DIO_42 supports SPI_CS. Can you please check on this.

Datasheet (SWRS270B) Sec 8.8 mentions that "All digital peripherals can be connected to any digital pin on the device." This is also indicated in TRM (SWCU194) Table 15-84 [I think you're interested in IOCFG42 specifically] where setting PORT_ID=0x0B connects it to SPI0's CS.

[Disclaimer: I haven't used this device, but I've seen similar IO configuration schemes. I admit this is the first I've seen with no restrictions at all.]
