MSP430I2041: Input voltage range of SD24 pins

Genius 3066 points
Part Number: MSP430I2041

Tool/software:

Hello,

I believe SD24 input pins (A0.0+, A0.0-, A1.0+, A1.0-, A2.0+, A2.0-, A3.0+, A3.0-) 's input voltage range is AVSS to VCC = -1V to VCC.

But another pins allow minumum -0.3V.

I believe reason of this is SD24 pins have no protection diode connected to VSS.

Is it really OK to supply -1V?

I am worried about if minous voltage effect to device's GND, minus voltage damege to device,...

Thanks,

GR
