MSP430F6736A: What is the significance of 0E to GND of AUXVCC1 and AUXVCC2?

Hi TI team

We are using MSP430F6736AIPN uC in our design for EVSE. In this design, we are having only one power supply of 3.3VDC for operating of uC. So we wanted to understnd whether we need to keep R3,R4 (0E) shorted to GND or not since we are not having any other power supply.

Hi Hariom,

Please refer to MSP430x5xx and MSP430x6xx Family User's Guide (Rev. Q): "Any unused auxiliary supply inputs (AUXVCC1 or AUXVCC2) must be connected to DVSS"

So if you do not have power supply in AUXVCC1 and AUXVCC2, you need to keep R3 & R4 connected to connect to GND.
