LP-MSPM33C321A: “Device 'MSPM33C321A' is not currently recognized”

I followed the user guide manual for the LP-MSPM33C321A, first using CCS Cloud and then CCS Desktop, and installed the required MSPM33 SDK for the desktop version. However, both methods had the same issue, showing the error “Device 'MSPM33C321A' is not currently recognized” when I tried to follow the steps provided in the user guide manual.

I had an install of CCS 20.3.1 that gradually upgraded itself to (it claimed) 20.4.0; that version didn't recognize the MSPM33C321A.

I then did a new install of CCS. It also claimed to be 20.4.0, but that version did know about the MSPM33.

I suspect you need to do a fresh install of the latest CCS.

Generally the MSPM33 SDK will have a different rev than CCS itself.

"Version: 1.02.00.00

Release date: Dec 12, 2025"

A new one was released last month.

Note that this is NOT the MSPM0 SDK.
