I have problems blowing the fuse on my MSP430F448 chips. I use the following setup:
chip: MSP430F448 rev G
development board: MSP-TS430PZ100 rev 1.2
JTAG hardware: MSP-FET430UIF version 1.4a
JTAG software: FET-Pro430 (Lite) version 3.0-3
When I try to blow the security fuse I get the following message in FET-Pro430:
Blowing Security Fuse ................................ failed
Verification of the security fuse and initialization of the JTAG communication is working correctly. Also dumping the MSP430's internal memory is no problem. I power the board through the MSP-430UIF. I tried several different chips and all have the same problem. Do you have any idea what I can do to troubleshoot this problem?
