Hi,
I'm really stuck getting a hello world to work over serial. I seem to be sticking the TX interrupt and I'm not sure why. Its very simple code. I am using the DCO at 1 Mhz as the UART clock. I have an MSP430F249-EP. If someone could give me a hand with the code I would appreciate it.
(Is there a way to insert code tags in this post to make it easier to read??)
The pertinent bit inside an infinate loop. string1 is "hello world!"
do UCA0TXBUF = string1[j++]; // TX next character
while (j != sizeof string1 - 1);
IE2 &= ~UCA0TXIE; // reset
IE2 |= UCA0TXIE;
j = 0;
All the code does is print out an "H" all the time.
Thanks!
