Defective 64-pin ZIF socket on TI target board MSP-TS430PM64

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: MSP-TS430PM64, MSP430F149

Is there something wrong with pin #17 of the 64-pin ZIF socket on TI target board MSP-TS430PM64?

I have a Rev.: 1.1 board and an old Rev.: 0.1 board. I just found out that they both seem to have the same defect. Pin #17 of the ZIF socket is not connected to the corresponding gold-finger inside the socket. As a result, I cannot access P1.5 of the chip.

The P1.5 I/O (pin #17) of my chip works. It is programmed as an output and toggles between Vss and Vcc. Pin #17 is in good contact with the finger #17 of ZIF socket. Pin #17 of the socket is soldered to the PCB. But I cannot see the toggling signal there. It is floating.

I also checked with an ohmmeter. Pin #17 of the socket is not connected to finger #17 of the socket.
