Hi can i use MSP430 Lanuchpad to program MSP430xx devices(other than MSP430 value line devices) such as MSP430FR5736 and low voltage part.

The SBW signals from LaunchPad are very marginal. The MPS430F16xx firmware on LaunchPad supporting SBW is also questionable.

Hi,

basically TI only guarantees that Launchpad can program Value Line Devices, see here:

However you might find in the forum that someone has successfully used it to program other devices. This might be true, but there is no guarantee for that.

Low Voltage MSP430 devices do not have Spy-Bi-Wire Interface.
