As there is no definitions provided for D5 and L2 it would automatically mean that these pins are not assigned to any functionalities

If you look at the connectors of the MCU at it's bottom, you will see all the pins but not all the pins provide you a meaningfull functionalities/operation.

likewise the pins D5 and L2 along with few more pins are just dummy pins.
