MSP430G series family data sheet mentions SVSCTL registry but I don't see it defined any where ! .. can any one shed some light on this?

There are three kinds of main documentation for MSP430 devices:
I believe you are referring to the MSP430x2xx Family User's Guide (SLAU144). In this case the SVS chapter is only valid for MSP430x2xx device with on-chip SVS module such as the MSP430F261x or MSP430F241x, but not for MSP430G2xx you mentioned.

Please check this information in TI website, it mentions brownout reset is supported in MSP430G2433 chipset.

brownout reset is not the same module as SVS. If you look into the SLAU144, brownout reset is described within chapter 2 "System Resets, Interrupts, and Operating Modes". The SVS is described however in different chapter 9 "Supply Voltage Supervisor". So basically they are different hardware modules.
