Interfacing MSP430 with L293D driver

Sir/Madam,

I need to turn on and off a solenoid valve by obtaining signals from the microcontroller MSP430FR5739. Iam using L293D as a driver. The data sheet of L293D says that it is operated by TTL so a logic high corresponds to 5v. But my low power microcontroller has a logic high of just 3.5V.

Will the interface work?

Am I proceeding rightly?
