Issues with MSP430F6720 adc reading stability

In one application we tried to use MSP430F6720 for a DC Voltage reading application, because of it's inbuilt PGA ,ADC etc.

But we have been having a problem of getting a stable reading against varying temperature .After a given value is read by the ADC even if we touch the device with our fingers on the middle of the Micro, the readings vary like it directly sees the temperature of the finger that it is touched with .

Also we get an ENOB of no more than 13 bits.

Our effort to understand this problem locally in INDIA was not successful because they work only on AC measurement an as such not aware of ADC issues.

Can I get to know if we can use MSP430F6720 for DC applications.

Please note that voltage input, supply etc are all with in specified limit.
